“Tim is the kind of person you want to confide in, giggle with, discuss with... he's a rare breed for the type of work he does.  I can 100% recommend him; he's not pushy or a clock watcher, arrogant or uninformed.“

Tim's Journey

Tim is an expert in sales, marketing, recruitment and leadership with a particular flair for helping his SME clients to capitalise on their digital and talent-based opportunities.

Growing up in Byron Bay, Tim originally pursued a career in Digital Media, TV and Film production across Australia, India and the USA, working with the likes of Universal, Bollywood productions and Not For Profit industry bodies.

In 2004, TIm relocated to the UK where he made the move into executive recruitment for Major Players, specialising in the creative & media industries.  During the severe UK recession, where most recruiters reduced headcount, Tim grew a division of 12 business managers into new markets, earning Tim a position on the Operational Board where he led all new tenders and strategic sales for the organisation, achieving a 65% success rate.  Notable wins included the NHS contract, News International, BSKYB, NSPCC, UKTV and LG.

Tim eventually relocated back to Australia in 2011 to become the National Director for Sales and Marketing Recruitment for the Australian operations of Randstad, the largest multinational recruitment & HR business globally.  In this role Tim grew the Division from 25 to 45 people, the largest in the market at the time, and expanded the Division to include Digital Recruitment.  Tim also worked on the ground in each state for a period of time to turn around offices, restructure teams, set sales strategies and make them profitable within a 6 to 12 month period.  Tim was also asked to restructure Randstad's Accounting Recruitment Division in 2013 to make it more profitable, and he then hired Matt McDonald in 2014 to lead that Division.

Tim moved across to become Randstad's Director of Marketing & Communications from 2015 to 2017 to restructure the team and to design and implement an innovative digital strategy for Australia with customer experience being the key driver.

After 14 years of corporate life, Tim made the move home to Byron Bay in 2017 to start a family and establish his own consulting business.  He works with a variety of SMEs along the Eastern seaboard, drawing on the many skills and experiences that he acquired during his global odyssey, and also pursues his passion for applying personal and commercial sustainability principles and concepts to the business world.
